she is what I wish for, crave and yearn.

like the part of me that drifted away with time,

I see the beginning in her eyes,

I get drunk in her voice,

drown in her laughter, saved by her touch,

she is the morning dawn and the night’s full moon.

let it drown

every trace of you inside me,

every whispered name,

every scar carved into memory

let it pull me under,

lungs burning, fists clawing,

until nothing remains

but the silence of forgetting,

let it wreck me,

tear through my veins,

wash you out like poison

I should’ve never swallowed

No ghost, no echo, no remnants,

just the void where you used to be.

I am the shield that guards the realms of men,

A wall of will where chaos bends.

Through blood and storm, I hold my ground,
